  • Mickey's Toontown Fair History

What were the attractions that used to be in this land when it was called Mickeys Birthdayland and Mickey's Starland?

um... a show.... meet & greets... The barnstormer used to be a petting zoo.... not much really ecisted since Birthday land was a Tamp land guilt quick.... Then starland was a bit more permanent....

Toon town introduced perminant structures and the barnstormer..

Not sure what besides train station & show & meet greet & Petting zoo existed...

They used to have a live foamhead show in the tent where Mickey greets guests now. The orginal show featured the other Fab characters trying to spring a surprise party on Da Mouse. When they turned it into Starland, the show changed to shill the characters of the Disney Afternoon animated lineup (Launchpad McQuack, Chip and Dale etc ...) ... the only other attraction of note was the petting zoo, which sat on the site of Goofy's Barnstormer and featured the lovely bovine, Minnie Moo.

I remember the darkwing duck show. The petting zoo with Minnie Moo ( a cow with a mickey-shaped spot) and they did have a small playground with those balls that you jump in and tunnels to crawl through, etc. Where Mickey's house is there was a fake storefront with little shops painteed on it. That's all I can remember.

Hasn't Mickey's house been there since the land 1st opened?

If I remember correctly they didn't have Mickey's house, but you could go and see him backstage after one of his shows. (at lease that was the setup)

Toontown needs to mimick Toontown in DL, they have plenty of room now that they fill in the 20k tank. The only things that I would keep are the Barnstormer and Don's Boat.

Mickey's house has always been there... though it was completely re-furbished when Mickey's Starland became Mickey's Toontown Fair.

I am very happy. Travel the World in my Corporation's jet. Check Disney Parks out on "quality control run". Get an ocasional side trip like the one to EXPO 2005 in Aichi this past week, and come back to report to you all. How dysfunctional can that be?
