  • [Question] Which resort for a solo person?

I will be taking my first trip alone to Disney World next April. Due to finances I need to stay at a Value resort. Would you recommend I stay at one I have visited before, so that I am comfortable with my surrondings? Or should I stay a one that is new to me, so that I am not thinking about all of those great times I had before at the resort with my family?

    What would you do?

I recently stayed at Pop Century with my grandson and his mother. If I returned solo to Disney World, I would be more than happy to stay there again. I really loved it. I love the way it is laid out, and the foodcourt was great.

Have you considered staying outside the resort? I am going solo in January and will be paying $23 a night for a motel in Kissimmee with free shuttle to the parks included.

I would stay at a new one, just because I want to stay at all of them!
        Good morning, son
        In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
        It was pain
        Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

If you want to stay on property, go with Pop Century. I always go to WDW by myself and I've stayed at Pop my last 3 or 4 visits.
