  • How I failed at Oscar Trivia......

With all the coverage the Oscars were getting yesterday, my son asked me "Who has won the most Oscars ever?"

I thought about it for a bit and replied "I'd guess it was not an actor. It's has to be someone behind the scenes, a director or producer...."

So today I Googled it. Well damn. I sure as heck should have know the answer to that one!

I think this might be even more embarrassing than the time I was standing in the Disneyland hub for a meet and pointed out Cinderellas castle to my little girl. Ohhh the looks I got!

He has the record by a long shot, it would be very difficult for someone to catch up I think the runner up is still short about 15 as far as total nominations.

Or you could just look for the context clues in my original post. On this DISNEY themed site.

              What was your google query?

Did you ask for the "actor" with the most Oscars or the "person" with the most?

I asked who had won the most Oscars.

I know who it is, but I'll google it anyway. I'm interested to see what the search says now.

                    Don't feel too bad, Moonliner.

My mom keeps calling WDW's Cinderella Castle "Sleeping Beauty's Castle"... regardless HOW many times I correct her.

I think the sun has finally bleached her brain.

Hahaha I didn't know the answer to this for the longest time. My best friend who knows everything about the Oscars was astounded that I didn't know. Now I have it permenantly engrained in my brain. I want to say the count is 22 Oscars.
