I call it EuroDisney, it's too much of a mouthful to say Disneyland Paris. When I talk to my friend in france she calls it EuroDisney also.

I still call it this. Not only is it kinda old-school in a way, but the only reason they changed their name was because EuroDisney became damaged goods shortly after opening. Too bad the French tried to make an example out of the park to complain about American capitalism, but you can't just change your name and market the new one 2x harder in hopes that everyone forgets the boondoggle.

It's like Phillip Morris changing their name to Altria in hopes that people won't realize that it's Phillip Morris. DLP = EuroDisneyland.

For me it's the "it's Disney, so it appeals to little kids and little kids only" mentality. I blame Card Walker and the rest of the 70s management team because during that decade, Disney really was making things that appealed only to children. It wasn't until Touchstone was created that they decided to get serious again.

I had a co-worker recently ask me "if he took his family to Disneyland in Florida, would his kids be able to get their picture taken with Bugs Bunny ?".
I told him that if that was his main priority, he could save lots of money by taking the kids to Six Flags 10 miles away.

I really liked that Honey I Shrunk the Kids ride
Mission to Space was really cool
Mission to Mars was really cool (when referring to Mission: Space)
I'll meet you at Mickey's Philharmonic
Disney World was really cool, let's go to Epcot tomorrow

I also don't like it when people substitute 'that' for one of the words (like 'that Tower ride' or 'that Philharmagic show'). They know the whole name, but they don't say it.
