  • The Anime-Expo thread

I hope I put this in the right place.

Okay so I know there was slight talk in another which consitutes it's own thread.

I figure here you can post cosplay outfits and talk about the upcoming Anaheim convention.

Thanks for thinking of something like this. I hope it serves the purpose and we get some nice pictures. I plan to take my Digital Camera to the Anaheim convention for sure and if I get any good costume pictures, I will post them.

We lost a lot of good men and women in the Anime war of 2003. Let's try and honor the memories of those fallen poorly drawn asian cartoons.

      Make Anime, not war.

While I'm not personally a fan of Anime myself, my daughter is a big fan. But I love to see the amazing costumes people come up with for the convention. I don't know who the characters are, but some of the people really go to a lot of work doing the costumes. My daughter and her friend did Sailor Moon and Sailor Jupiter one year. So bring on the pics!!! Wanna see!!

                  Does anyone want to meet?

Saturday, I'm doing the A-X fourms meet and greet.

If anyone cares lets meet on saturday, inside the Hilton around one, then maybe we can go eat somewhere. I have my screen name on my badge so if you see me say hi.

I'm missing one day of A-X to go to DL.

I'm looking forward to pictures. I have never been to an anime con before, just comic cons.

I'm mildly big into Anime, but my wife is obsessed. She wants to go pretty bad, but I don't think we'll make it.

Be sure to post lots of photos for us to pretend we were there.

                            Re: The Anime-Expo thread

I will be there pretty much all weekend except for part of Saturday for Dustysage's B-day par-tay.

I'm really looking forward to seeing the contestants and actual AX Idol show this year since it's changed so much from the last few years. If you guys wanna meet up at some point, let me know.

As for cosplay, I'll figure it out day of. I have too many costumes in my closet and I wear them based on whims for every con... although I'm pretty sure I'll do at least Chikane Himemiya from Kannadzuki No Miko and Tifa from FF7:AC for sure. ^_^

Yeah, I want photos of cosplayers too. For some reason I love cosplay photos.
