  • CPDP's European Travels (The First Two Months)

Hello my fellow MiceChatters! As many of you know this princess was transfered to a new kingdom in July - the beautiful European Kingdom. I've been here for nearly two months and just LOVE it. I've spent all my time thus far in Germany and Switzerland. Beautiful scenery, lovely people, outstanding food, and sinful chocolate!! Anyway - I've posted pics in some Gold ares - but nothing public (more out of lack of time and good internet connections...) so - here we are, CPDP's first two months in Europe in pictures!!

My first day in Europe (Auinstien, Germany) meeting an old friend's cat...

The village where I stayed the first two weeks

My new Unit Leader (aka Boss) Yay!

My new team - we'll work/travel/live/everything together until December 13. We cover Switzerland,Austria and Bavaria in Germany!

And we shall travel in THIS beast! It's a great van - loud and very bumpy. It's so funny when we pull into a new place and they see this huge loud orange van w/ three beautiful women inside.... Oh the looks we get!!

After a rain storm in Germany (near Dinglesberg)

    Lindenberg Germany

Now THIS is a weird job....

    Bend Down...

    And pick up cone!

    View leaving Lindenberg

This was the view from my bedroom in Wattenwil, Switzerland

    The Alps are soo beautiful!

On the mountain side above Wattenwil

I'm in love with the sheep here - they are soooo freaking cute and all have bells - it sounds so pretty!

Just a pretty tree pic from Wattenwil

More pretty flowers - this time in Rieghn Switzerland

On our day off - going to Basel, Switzerland

The Rathaus (or City Hall) in Basel

Gargoyle on a Church in Basel

    Beautiful stained glass...

This is the tomb of an old (like from the 1200s) European Queen and her 3 year old Son. It was just tucked away in a corner of this huge cathedral.

Ok - this is one of my favorite pictures so far. I took this pic and didn't see the girl sitting there till I got home and uploaded the pictures. She just adds just a nice texture to the picture...

This is the ceiling of the 'under-church'

    Woo Hoo for Swiss Beer!

Cool Fountian by the Reihn River in Basel

    Sunset over the Reihn

    Me and the Reihn

Also over the Reihn in Basel

From a church in Burgdorf, Switzerland

      Another cute European Sheep

      My first REAL Castle!

      That's all for now....

Thanks! Yeah - unsecured wireless is pretty hard to come by out here - but I promise to do better in keeping everyone updated outside BP Gold!

"But every night, when it gets dark
              and the stars come out,
I'll look up on her behalf.
I'll look up in the sky and think of you."

                  Gorgeous pics!
Glad you're having a good time!
                  Good morning, son
                  In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
                  It was pain
                  Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...
