  • Job Interview

OK, my fellow Mice Chatters. After a glorious 6 months of unemployment, I have made the difficult decision to return to the workforce. I have my first job interview on Monday morning, and I am both rather excited and nervous. Keep your fingers crossed for me!

        Good luck to you!
At my last job I sat in on the inerviews for a new secretary. One person was going along great. We got to the standard "Seeing as how no one is perfect, what would you say is your biggest weekness?" To wich she answers---well, I am not very reliable. :lmao:

"No, but you can tell how much it is going to cost."

Bring the interviewer a 12 pack, it will show that you will be a nice addition to the workplace.

Silly. I'm not worried about getting the job. I have 8 years of experience in my field and I am very good at what I do. I know how to present myself in an interview, I'm just not entirely sure I WANT to go back to work. The last 6 months have been so great with Paige. This is the first time since she was born that I've been unemployed...10 years! I've come to love the time I've been able to spend with her, dropping her off and picking her up from school, helping with homework, etc. It will be hard to give that up again. :gladsad:

Best of luck! Here's the crash course: Dress up, be warm, answer the questions, make eye contact.

                    Good morning, son
                    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
                    It was pain
                    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

If you're not sure if you want to go back, then you just might jeopardize your interview. Take it from me, I know the feeling.
