69 is a relatively young age to die at these days. I salute one of the bravest athletes and entertainers of all time. You've jumped to another place - a mansion just over the hilltop, for a wildly spirited American hero.
To Boldly Go Where No MiceChatter Has Gone Before!
I know his wife personally, and his daughter went to school with my sister. His grand mother lived only blocks away from my parents, and He and his ex wife linda lived in a beautiful home by the country club Where I had been a guest many times. I had drinks with him when he came to town after his divorce at a neighbor bar we all hung out in. ( many many years ago  ) I For the past several years our town hold "evil Knievel days" Whats funny is my older sister baby sat Robbie, ands she would come home saying that kid was rotten  But she liked him and would never say no when asked to sit with him .
He will sadly be missed. God Bless you evil !!!
Had this when I was a kid, wanted to be Evel when I grew up. Parents weren't keen on the idea.
Thanks for posting this Tiggerfan. I saw this on my phone today and was quite surprised he didn't live longer.
Thanks GrouchyRob, I had this toy as well. One of the great toys in Toy history.

He was the coolest. And I had the toy rocket (from the Snake River jump) as a kid.
I was in Idaho on business once and saw the dirt ramp they built for that jump. It's still there and I was very impressed.
