  • Let's Have A Christmas Conversation Using Song Lyrics

Same rules apply as the regular thread, except we're using lyrics from Christmas and winter-holiday oriented songs! Each response should be a reflection of the post about it, using at least one or two matching words when possible, just like in the other thread.

C'mon the snow is falling and friends are calling yoo-hoo!
C'mon it's lovely weather for a sleigh ride together with you!
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

Oh, the weather outside is frightful,
But the fire inside is delightful

      I really can't stay
      Baby it's cold outside
      I've got to go away
      Baby it's cold outside

"Well I don't know about you folks, but it's way past my bedtime."

I picked him up, and put him on Santa's lap...and the he pulled the pillow out of his shirt.

He yanked the beard right on off of his chin and in his eyes I could see he was hurt...
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

In the distance, the ringing of laughter...and in the midst of the laughter, he cries...pretty paper, pretty ribbons of blue...
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

                      Ans so this is Christmas
                      I hope you have fun
The near and the dear one
                      The old and the young
I suffer from infantile thoughts of grandiosity

And so I'm offering this simple phrase
To kids from 1 to 92
Although it's been said many times, many ways
                        Merry Christmas to you
"Here you leave Today and enter the world of Yesterday, Tomorrow, and Fantasy."

"There is really no secret about our approach. We keep moving forward - opening up new doors and doing new things - because we're curious. And curiosity keeps leading us down new paths. We're always exploring and experimenting. We call it 'Imagineering' - the blending of creative imagination with technical know-how."
