  • Spring Has Sprung - What's Going On In Your "Neck of the Woods"?

Now that Winter is over, and Spring is really here to stay, we purchased the picnic table above and plan to spend some time in our backyard, instead of staying in the house. Fresh air and exercise is good for us. Remember when you were a kid, and your Mom, and/or Dad told you to go outside and play. It was too nice a day to be inside, they would tell you.

What's going on in your "neck of the woods", now that Spring has Sprung?

    Stay tuned for more....

When my grandson was little, we always had a pool set up in our backyard for him. I was glad that we did that. He loves the water. He is not afraid at all. I, myself am afraid of the water, and I don't swim at all.

            Spring? What's that?

Oh, that's the 'not as hot' part of the neverending summer here.

            We just need some rain!

Every time I have been to Florida - and I have only been to WDW there - we had plenty of rain.

Spring to me means April until the kids get out of school. In Chicago that is about the middle of June.

Nothing is ever going on in my neck of the woods.

Quiet is good sometimes. I remember the days when my boys were small, and I had all the boys in the neighborhood in my backyard. it was very noisy in my backyard, and in my house back then.

Nice thread and patio set, Barbaraann...but, again here in Southern California "winter" was when it got below 50 degrees at night. We had more wildfires than storm systems.

But I'm not complaining, because I still remember two years ago when our area got the second biggest amount of rain since the 1800's...and that in part led to a mudslide that killed ten neighbors just down the street from me.

But today...things are wonderful in our little La Conchita enclave!

The pollen has been bad this year here in FL....we've also got a large (68,000+ acres) fire in SE GA so the smoke has been drifting down towards us, thus making it difficult to breathe.
