  • How do you undo the mom stress?

We all get pulled in a hundred different directions, have way too many things to do. Run the kids to doctor appointments, dentist appointments, soccor practice, dance class, etc. We have to clean, do laundry, clean up gross stuff, and coordinate wardrobes. And that is just before breakfast.

With all of the stress, how do you unwind?
Anything listed on the park maps as an attraction is fair game for inclusion in the Rally.
I cannot confirm nor deny the inclusion of any attraction in the Rally.

Bookstore... just me and the bookstore. It's my happy place.

I try to take some time out for me doing something I enjoy. If I have no money, then I end up playing the piano.

Large amounts of Vodka and Xanax

Seriously, chatting after the kids are in bed or reading usually. I'd read now, but my librarian has nothing to offer me.

I like to read, drive, play Castlevania (ok, so it has been a year), and shop. I guess posting on the boards is destressing too.

Since I have promised to be better about my spending habits, I could always channel some of that energy into Castlevania. They do have the SNES version of Castlevania for GBA. And Nathan said that I could borrow his DS anytime.

The librarian offers love and friendship. Well.. I'll make sure to find something wonderful for you! Post in the reading thread the books you've enjoyed and I"ll try to come through!

For the linkably challenged, I believe she meant to say: Sephora.com.

I like your style Tinkerbelle! I have been meaning to dust off my bathtub. Don't remember the last time that thing saw water.

Great plan to keep the laptop and the bubble bath separate.

It's great on a good night I can get a whole undistured hour...(that's about how long it takes for the water to grow cold)
-even better when hubby come up to refill the wine then disapear...

...I have taught my family well

B is with her father this weekend.

The way I see it... I will be reading all weekend and enjoying my piano.
My stress is flying OUT the window!

I head to my neighborhood Starbucks with a book or the newspaper. I do it in the evening at least once a week all by my lonesome.

It's so nice and quiet there. I've been doing it for about a year, and my husband is so cool about it......it was his idea!!

I get me-time when the girls are in school, too, so I'm spoiled. I try to go to the gym, catch up on laundry (I love laundry! I'm a freak!), head online to chat, and sometimes catch an episode of Sex & the City here and there.
