  • Pink's New Music Video - "Stupid Girls"

Pink has come out with a new music video that really struck a chord with me, entitled "Stupid Girls". The album comes out April 4th, but in the meantime, here's a link to watch the video and see some commentary:

    http://aolsvc.news.aol.com/music/art...15063809990015

"They travel in packs of two or three/With their itsy bitsy doggies and their teenie weenie tees .../Porno paparazzi girls ...

Sound like anyone you might have spotted in the tabloids lately? In the video for Girls, which premiered Jan. 26 on MTV's Overdrive, Pink (Alecia Elliott) appears at one point stumbling around in oversized shades, beads and a billowy frock, possibly evoking Mary-Kate or Ashley Olsen in an unguarded moment."

I'm personally glad that somebody had the guts to make a song/music video like this. Maybe the general public can get somewhat of a reality check

I wish I had more faith in people to actually get reality. Oh well, maybe it's me who lives in a different reality.

Aside from the whole bathroom part (it was funny, but I definitely could have done without seeing that :yuck I think the song and the video is great!

I'm not sure if the link has the video or not, since I hate AOL. but if you haven't seen it, and it's not there, here it is
"Tonight I wash my hands of you
You set the bar I could not live up to
Tonight the light is breaking through
So thank you very little and send me postcards from hell"

That is SO the truth. I know a group of girls exactly like that and there's 3 of them. I avoid them like the plague.

great video! i loved how she challenged all of the unattainable, stereotypical starlet images that are constantly pushed in our faces.

Anyone else believe her most beautiful "character" was the president?

              Bleh, I can't stand Pink.
Sucks that she has to be the one makes a song and video like this
              Good morning, son
              In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
              It was pain
              Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

                I agree, Hector.
I thought that music video was the funniest thing I have seen in a long time. When she started "washing the car", I fell off my chair laughing.
"Somebody need me too much; somebody know me too well. Somebody pull me up short, and put me through hell, and give me support for being alive. Make me alive. Make me alive! Make me confused; mock me with praise. Let me be used. Vary my days. But alone is alone, not alive. Somebody crowd me with love, somebody force me to care. Somebody let me come through, I'll always be there as frightened as you, to help us survive being alive."
