Number 1 - The Tram Tour....

I need to offer a second, but the Tram Tour is more like the top 5 at USH (things like King Kong, Earthquake, Jaws, Wiesteria Lane, etc...)

I agree. Nothing beats the tram tour at USH. As for the rest of the top 10... well, it's hard to choose because I don't think I have enough interest in what Universal offers there... But If I had to choose some fav things...

        - The view of the Valley and Burbank from the upper level.
        - Their version of the Mummy, which I find better than Orlando's.
        - The old Flinstones musical show..which I loved and only saw once.
        - Cinemagic (just because it is unique to USH)...

..and that's just about it for me.

          1) Studio Tour
          2) Waterworld
          3) Mummy
          4) Jurassic Park
          5) Terminator
          6) SFX
          7) Back to the Future
          8) Shrek 4D
          9) Backdraft
          10) Van Helsing
          11) Animal Actors
          12) Fear Factor

I think this is pretty accurate for me. BTW, are they finally putting the Zorro show in the Wild West Arena? They've been doing some stuff back there for couple weeks now I think. Or is it just repaving? Is the rumored Zorro show just gonna be that mini-show they have now in the European patio area? So much curiousity...

I'm not sure as to the groundbreaking of the Zorro show, or it's scale. I will sorely miss Waterworld (especially in view of the fact that a large portion of the props were used in the actual film). At the same time, I'll look forward to the Zorro if it is going to br a large budget, kick-*** attraction.

You can always catch it at Universal Studios Japan as I believe it won't go anywhere for the time being.

Re: Your Universal Hollywood "Big Top 10"

Well, I would put the Tram Tour at the top of the list unless you include the VIP Tour.

And not the "new and improved" one, but the older one where you could request where the Trolley would stop and actually get out and enjoy the sets or whatever/wherever you wanted.

On one tour, we actually were the only ones scheduled for that day, so we had the Trolley to ourselves. VERY cool!

We've done the VIP Tour four times now and have seen some incredible stuff.

For Jaws fans. (which I am), we have pics of me standing on the ORCA when it was still afloat (???) and on display in the lagoon as well as photo's from the surrounding set and next to Ben Gardner's boat (which is now also long gone).

We also got to go into the sound stage where they were filming Chucky, Part 3 and we got to see the Chucky animatronic dolls which were lined up on a table in various forms of completion.

We got to go inside the prop building (a no-no today, at least that is what I've heard).

We met Arnold (and his double) when he was shooting "Jingle all the way" during the parade scene on the back lot.

We got to go inside the entry door of the Psycho house and into the cabin from the Great Outdoors (also the house from Coach).

And finally, we got to eat lunch at the commissary that the Tram drives by near the sound stages (not that great of tasting food, but you couldn't beat the atmosphere).

Yep, VIP Tour. Tough to beat.

Universal Hollywood has announced that Waterworld will be replaced by another attraction - though they haven't said exactly when. Replacement rumors have ranged from shows such as Zorro to rides such as Spider-man.

The VIP Tour sounds like pure magic, PirateMickey. I'd love to experience famous sets up close and personal. Meeting cool actors like Arnold and watching them film would truely be a memorable event. These are things that you could never experience at Universal Orlando, regardless of how big the park becomes.

They just recently refurbished it, It would seem of odd that they would refurbish it and then close it.
