I'll be there Oct 20. I've already been to Knott's Scary, so I'm very interested in comparing.
Does anyone even bother with signatures anymore?

I'm so excited for friday the 13 at Universal! I've been waiting to long for them to bring Halloween Horror Nights back! For me it was always better than any other halloween event.. I hope it returns just as good as it was before, thats questionable though, they used to have it many more days throughout october, I wonder why there's only 7 days this year?

My guess is that it has to do with the neighbors. Universal Studios falls mostly within L.A. County, but a small portion (hotels, some parking, and some of the park) fall within the city limits of Los Angeles. Those people on the city side have a very strong voice about what happens at Universal, such as HHN. Traffic is the main concern. There are no entrances or exits for guest parking on the county side. So, that puts it all on the city side. For large events, L.A. parking enforncement and LAPD needs to be called in with Universal footing the bill, which is not cheap.
"And yes, we implore EVERYBODY to follow the park rules. Having off-ride footage is great, but any still photo's or video's taken ON the coasters at SFMM are strictly against the rules. They are there for your (and everybody's) safety." "Six Flags doesn't allow ANY loose articles on their coasters, and they don't allow video taping on their coasters. " BUT, " This is not true. Six Flags does not allow ANY On-Ride video or pictures on the rides. The ONLY way is if you get explicit permission from Park Management." ???
