Does anyone know if the calf will be allowed for viewing in March (when I go)? I dont know what the viewing time frames or policies are for the newborns at Seaworld. I also noticed that just after the baby was born, the Shamu Cam was taken off the website.

They have been letting people in a limited time and intervals to view the calf already. By May they should be back to their regular show schedules.

Will the One Ocean (Shamu show) not be showing in March? I hope that's not the case. I know the website says this on the day I'm going:
            One Ocean

            11:30 AM, 2:30 PM, 7:00 PM

I was there the last two days. I'm not sure about Sunday, but yesterday we were able to watch the baby swimming around the show pool with its mom from the glass-enclosed walkway adjacent to the Shamu stadium. However, the Shamu Show was canceled both days during this "bonding" time with mom. I have no idea when the show will return.

I can tell you as of Saturday night, the Sea World website still had One Ocean scheduled for Sunday. Then when we arrived around noon, it was listed among the closed attractions at the parking lot entrance. On Sunday night, they had removed Monday's One Ocean performances from the online schedule.

                Interesting....

Well, I will just have to see the schedule on the day I go. Its not for another month so I will hope that maybe there will be a show.

                Thanks for all the info!

What an adorable little orca, and a jubilant proud mama.

I wish SeaWorld had a "Kiss the Baby Orca" backstage tour because I would totally do that! lol

I think my head was overloaded with cuteness just thinking of kissing the baby orca. I know my kid would want to do that!
