  • Least busy weekend this summer

I have not been to USH since 1985! My friends and I want to visit this July or August (prefer July) to see King Kong and the Simpsons Ride. I work M-F, so which Sat or Sun will be the least crowded this summer? I will NOT be going 4th of July weekend as it will probably be very crowded, and I have plans. Thanks!

    FIRST HKDL TRIP - 2016?

    FIRST TDLR TRIP - 2017?

    FIRST SHDL TRIP - 2019?

I went last Thursday and it was way busier than when I usually go during the weekends. But its still no where as bad as DL.

The Simpson ride gets 30-40 min lines almost every day in the summer

Jurassic park and Mummy, have only 5 min lines until noon (except for extremely busy days) then the line sget to be about 20-30 mins

The Tram can have 15 min lines all day or go up to 40 mins (and maybe longer with kong opening)

The House of Horrors maze will get a 5-20 min line

As for the shows just show up 15 mins (or earlier) to each show and you'll get a seat.
          Happy Halloween!!!

Thanks! In comparison to Disneyland where I am used to 60-120min lines (or longer) on busy summer days, I think 40min is nothing. Now I am super excited! I am surprised at the short lines for Jurassic Park and the Mummy as I had assumed they would be the more poplular rides.

JP and Mummy are very popular but they push so many people through in each boat/train, it's ridiculous. Simpsons however, takes FOREVER.
There's 3 different waiting areas, including the line beforehand.

The above posted wait times are average for an average summer but daily attendance has been way up this year and combined with the opening of King Kong 360-3D and the new Special Effects Stage show USH will be packed this summer.

^yeah Im sure the Tram will get pretty busy after the first hour, If you get to the park when it opens and go on the Simpson's, Tram, Mummy/Jurassic Park and then head back up the the Upper lot and go to each show 15-20 mins before each show you should be able to do it all in a day. Its all about what you get done in the first hour at any Amusement park.
                  Happy Halloween!!!
