Very interesting, I can't wait to see the finished product. Looks very impressive, let's hope the Hollywood version is just as spectacular.

I'm surprised by the amount of negative comments in that article. My only disappoint is no Flourish and Botts bookstore but other than that if Florean Fortescue Ice Cream Parlour has a Butterbeer flavored ice cream then I'm sold.

I do think they should get rid of the Ollivander's in Hogsmeade and turn it into Madame Puddifoot's TeaShop.

I think the naysayers that Universal didn't mess up, are now proven wrong by the relocation of Zonko's.

              Also it's what I figured, a mall.

I was really hoping they could put more attractions in. Gringott's is going to have a huge line, and the rest of the Studio will be empty. Just like what happened at IOA when WWOHP opened.

In the end we are getting a two attraction resort.

Yeah, the fact that Diagon Alley has shops makes it a mall. So every theme park in existence is just a glorified mall.

The closing of Zonko's is either a testament to the success of Honeydukes or the failure of Zonko's. Possibly both. Either way, I'd rather mess up a small store than, say, an attraction centerpiece comparable in size to a yeti.

They only have so much space.

And it's a 47 attraction resort. Your math was just a tad off there. It's understandable.

A glorified mall it made be but let's be honest with ourselves. No other movie franchise anywhere would be able to pull it off and get away with it like Harry Potter can. The stores and products sold are part of the Harry Potter universe that people long desired to experienced.

I was hoping for more attractions, but it looks great. I really don't mind all the rest being shops long as they are "specialty" shops, and not generic . Im not into "extreme" coasters (used to be, though.....lol), so that's why I like to see ride of differant kinds.

So maybe I don't remember the movies so well, but I had thought Diagon Alley was what they built at Islands of Adventure? So what is the little village with the wand shop and the butterbeer and everything over at Islands of Adventure then?
