  • Ride system tests have started on Transformers at Universal Orlando

Late breaking news... apparently ride system testing has started at Transformers at Universal Orlando. Universal has started running ride system tests 24/7 as they get this ride ready for a Summer opening.

Just exciting to know that vehicles are now running inside NEST!

I can't believe how quickly this ride has come togther and can't wait to ride it in August.
I hope the queue is better than the one in Hollywood.

I've heard it's short. Part of the line may end up outside.

That would be a bummer. I'm already dissapointed that it looks like they are copying the entrance. I was hoping for this one they would greatly improve but I guess the budget is cheap again.

It's the clone of a clone it should be ready quickly with a year of testing done on the original.

That is great news. i agree that the ride is very quickly coming together.
The new Star Wars plot summery:

Episode 7: Luke discovers that Darth Vader is not his father, and goes on a search for his real father

Episode 8: Darth Vader is resurrected and goes on Jerry Springer, claiming he is Luke and Leia's father

Episode 9: Princes Leia is not Luke's sister, making him furious (we all know why...).

It is exciting to see. It was originally assumed that Transformers would be opening Memorial Day weekend... but now that SeaWorld has openly claimed that weekend for Antarctica it will be interesting to see when Transformers Opens here in Orlando.

Absolutely, it'll be a great weekend when both of those rides open. One of the many benifits of living in Orlando.

I am curious if Universal will move the date since SeaWorld announced to the world when it would open!

Soooo many things to watch in the coming weeks!

And here I was thinking it would just be a loop of Linkin Park songs...

They need to turn it down a little though. It seems like it would carry too far from the attraction.

Have they made any attempt to make the ride look like it fits in New York street, or do you simply have these very well themed buildings with a huge box right in the middle of the street?
