  • Diagon Alley construction

Here's a panorama of the Diagon Alley construction I took last week - we know the train station and the like, but I was so shocked by the size of this thing. What else is going in here - does anyone know?

Yeah, it's going to be amazing when it's finished. I believe it will help bring usf up to if not even surpass the level that islands is at the moment. They are really pumping money in to the parks and as a universal Orlando fanboy, I'm very glad to see it.
    Long may it continue.

Personally I'm hoping for a horror type thing - a London setting would be perfect for some sort of dungeon maze that runs all year - something with the classic monsters possibly, like they do in USH. There's plenty of room in that huge expansion for something like that :-)

JK Rowling won't let HHN anywhere near Potter. She absolutely despises the event. Next year the area will pretty much be a dead zone.

I have heard this over and over again, but I have yet to hear where this info came from.

I am sure she would not like HHN in it's current form in the WWOHP but I could see them giving it a make over to fit a specific time in the HP universe.

I don't think that it is likely since the IP is so hard to work with.

I agree... Imagine a scarezone filled with Dementors and a maze themed as an escape from He Who Must Not Be Named.
The fountain of youth really is in Florida... thats why they built Walt Disney World where they did.

The construction is just happening so fast, can't believe that it only started in 2012 and will be finished in 2014!
The new Star Wars plot summery:

Episode 7: Luke discovers that Darth Vader is not his father, and goes on a search for his real father

Episode 8: Darth Vader is resurrected and goes on Jerry Springer, claiming he is Luke and Leia's father

Episode 9: Princes Leia is not Luke's sister, making him furious (we all know why...).

The Disney Co. is like an old slow man. "I'll show them whipper snappers over at Universal with their plans for 2014. I'm gonna have Avatar to conquer them! Oh, it's planned to open THREE years later ('17) ... You just wait Uni !"

Dear Peoplemover Fans, If you want to see a new attraction that at least mimics the 1967 Peoplemover in a future Tomorrowland remodel, you need to write to the powers-that-be, and let them know. If you don't - Then the next time Tomorrowland is remodeled, you will see a land barren of any "Peoplemover" type attraction.

The sad part is that Universal will have several other projects finished by then.
