  • Universal Studios Singapore Weekly Updates

Hello there, i'm going to be updating this thread with photos of updates/changes around the park. Feel free to use the photos.
    • Date: December 6, 2011
EDIT: The [img] coding didn't seem to work for most of the pictures and I'm not sure what to do. For now you'll have to click the links sorry about that.

Here we see a brand new stand that sells turkey legs! A first for USS.

Here are the prices; $9.89 USD for a turkey leg meal.

Meanwhile at Jurassic Park, more turkey legs! This stand use to provide 2 SGD ice cream, now its evolved haha.

I let my pet raptors out.
Enhancements to the ride continue through out the rest of 2011 and is targeted for a reopening possibly by the end of January or the beginning of Feburary. (CNY)

The mysterious 'Stage 28' we may see a special fx type of thing going on here similar to the show in USH. It was labeled in the initial version (4.0) of the studio guide, but its no longer labeled. (4.3)

I absolutely loved my visit to this park a few months ago. It is top notch and the theming is amazing. Glad to see more of it.

LOL! That Turkey Leg stand is using a freeware font I created in the 1990s -- I can tell because the "&" is different from the one you'd get if you bought the real, licensed version from Adobe. Gosh, they could have bought the real font for only the price of a couple turkey legs.

The barges on the lake are used for the 'Lake Hollywood Spectacular' which is a firework show with a duration of around 5 minutes. The layout in which the fireworks are fired remind me of a hillbilly version of Illuminations at Epcot. The firework shows are on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at 9pm. Occasionally you have the private/special events where the barges are used for fireworks.
