  • San Diego folks- meet up for "Nightmare Before Christmas?"

Are there any MiceChatters in the San Diego area who want to meet up to see "Nightmare Before Christmas?"

It's playing at Mission Valley, Horton Plaza, and Poway.

My 7-year-old isn't up for seeing it yet (after all, "Corpse Bride" was too scary for her), so I'm seeking other folks to join me!

    :-)

Trying to go to the 8pm show this Friday night (oct 27th) at Mission Valley Hazard Center (sorry, it's not at Mission Valley Mall as I previously thought).

Tickets are available on-line via moviefone.com, but not yet at the disney sponsored site. I have not bought my tickets as I'm waiting for my party to decide who's going and who's not (which consists of my Dad and a friend of mine).

            Hey TigerLily,
That sounds like a great idea to go the movies! I would love to go see it, however my kids have a Halloween party to go to tomorrow evening If you decide to go at a later time/date, pm me or post it.

Sorry I haven't posted until now... If you haven't seen it yet, you absolutely must make the time! It's only out a few more days.

We saw it at Hazard Center Friday night, had no trouble with parking once we figured out where the theater was (relevant to Friars Road). The line was quite long, but since we bought our tickets on-line, we got right in. We were the second group inside the theater, had perfect seats in the center.

Our glasses though? For some reason, ours were green-rimmed. Everyone else's were black-rimmed. Anyone know why? Looking around the theater, it looked like we were somehow picked out of the crowd. They still had the "Disney 3-D" wrappers, but were just a different color!

They previewed another Disney 3-D movie coming out in the spring (Sorry, I've already forgotten the name), that should be cool. The techonology is very impressive.

You could see the dimensions on all of the models. Very few "cheap" 3-D tricks, maybe one or two. Otherwise, very true to the original.

I had, in fact, forgotten how much I love the movie and how much I love the music.

It was a full house, which also made it fun.

Hope to meet up with the San Diego mice-chatters another time!

                Wendy
