Nice article - I've always felt that the Cheyenne would be a great place to stay if you're visting with kids. The themeing is some of the best I've seen for a hotel (Paris or otherwise), and it seems to balance budget/magic very well.

Thanks. I really like the Cheyenne when I visit with my Nephew, but as he gets older I think the Sequoia Lodge will be better for us.

Thanks for this series of articles, Ian. I have never been able to get a good sense of what the Paris DL hotels were like anywhere else online. You've done a great job photographing them and summing up their good and bad points. When I finally get to go myself, I will be referring to these articles to help me make up my mind. Thanks again!

Well there is one more part to go (Santa Fe) and then you can see them all.
I hope to have the last part up by the end of August.

The hotel looks lame! And where were all the people? It looks like no one was there!

Well I can assure you it is not lame at all.

As to there being few people in the shots, that is because I always go out of my way to make sure there are as few people as possible in my photographs. If you look back at other stories I have written on MiceAge and MousePlanet you will see that.

I sometimes wait 10-15 mins to get a shot that has few people, they are usually much better and it lets you see what the actual location looks like without the clutter of people. I also took the Cheyenne photos in the afternoon, at that time of day most people are in the parks and not wandering round the hotels.
