  • Disney Movies in 2013

At this point it looks like Disney will have a rock solid year of movies in 2013:

    • Monster University - Pixar
    • King of Elves - WDAS
    • Thor 2 - Marvel
    • Iron Man 3 - Marvel
    • Magic Kingdom
    • TR3N
    • The Hill (Matterhorn inspired movie)
    • Pirates 5 (as long as Johnny signs on in time)
    • National Treasure 3 (if all goes well)
    • Jungle Cruise (if all goes well)
What do you think of this preliminary line up for Disney in 2013

Am I missing anything we have heard rumors of?

About half the films listed above do not have 2013 release dates or any date as yet. They're in various preliminary stages of development, writing, etc.

Besides it would be tremendously foolish to blow out too many potential b.o.winners in one year.

I disagree, if Disney had a bunch of box office hits in one year it would make them be sitting extremely well afterwards, I did the math and if they even do as well as the previous movies similar to them (or previous installments), and spend about the same, from these movies alone they would be sitting on $3 billion dollar profit in one year, not to mention anything else they do that would be cheap movies that don't need to be blockbusters (like this years Prom). And in theory, if they made that much money in one year, it might make bob Iger more willing to spend the money to buy up some of the property around disneyland to expand the resort, and possibly build a 3rd park (I think they should slowly buy out more land, then surprise the public with the new resort expansion plan).
