    U2 postpones tour dates due to family illness

    U2 postpones tour dates later this month
    Irish rock band U2 on Thursday announced it was postponing its tour dates in Australia, New Zealand, Japan and Hawaii later this month and in early April.
    Due to illness in one of the bandmembers' families, U2 will have to push back some Pacific dates.AFP/Getty Images


    In a statement, the tour promoter said the decision was unavoidable "due to the illness of an immediate family member of one of the band."

    One of these days I'm going too see these guys when they are in my area or I will drive to see them in SoCal if they are playing.
    1st Amendment-Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

        If the show is only postponed they will reschedule in your area at some point in the future Sharkyboi. Check with where ever you got the tickets. They will either give you your money back or exchange them for tickets to the new show when its reschedules.

        I'd love to see them someday myself. They've played close to where I am, but never close enough.

          It's the same reason the first leg of the tour was postponned last year too... The Edge's 8 year old daughter.

              I don't think it has been revealed(what cause) but Edge dedicated a Grammy to his daughter recently. Sounds life threatening. But the band is really keeping it a secret. Some folks have shelled out $5,OOO so far!

              Hope Edge's daughter makes it through whatever it is.
