  • Disney Vacation Club- Loss of Discount

Effective immediately all Disney Vacation Club Members will no longer get their 10% discount at the stores. Disney was paying for the discount. The Children's Place would track the sales and savings made by DVC members, send it to Disney, and Disney would reimburse TCP, just like they do for Disney Company employees.

I am not sure about the Catalog since that is still owned by Disney, I would assume so.

How do DVC members feel? Any thoughts?

I am not a member, because there isn't much of a California benifit... But I wonder if it is still honored at the World of Disney stores?

I'm a DVC member and I could care less about a discount at the Disney stores (the mall stores). They haven't had anything interesting there for years.

I love the World of Disney stores, however. Disney still owns those.

I better be or they will have upset DVC members! Especially those who signed in for years like one of my leads. She is in it for 40 years. That program suprises me to be quite honest.

What if there was a CA program? If you were a member would you be upset or not care?
