  • Farscape/SG1 crossover...

I know this would never happen, but after seeing the preview for SG1 next season, I got to thinking... SG1 is a show that deals with wormholes, space travel, and occasionally, alternate dimensions/realities. Farscape was a show that dealt with wormholes, space travel, and at least toyed with the idea of alternate dimensions/realities (Through The Looking Glass)...

How incredibly cool/funny would it be to incorporate references of Farscape into upcoming SG1 Episodes? After all, they have mentioned MacGyver more than once. Maybe something as simple as mentioning Races from 'Scape, or using more members of the "Scape cast.

I'd love a full-blown crossover, with alternate Cameron Mitchell/Crightons in the same episode, but that's way too much of a fanboy dream to ever happen. I wonder if any of SG1 will end up with nicknames... I don't think Teal'c would take too kindly to being called Gweedo or Sparky...

What can I say, too many comic boocs in my past...

Hey, on second thought, Teal'c could definately be referred to as "Big Guy"!

Too many comic books in my past, present and future. How did one box multiple into five in five years? and that doesn't include the ones I sold off!

Very true. I'm glad to see both of them in a show again, and it's a bonus that they're in the same one! My biggest problem will be if she gets involved with Daniel. I mean, really, Daniel? Nothing against him, but she's way out of his league. Besides, seeing her an Ben in the same show, and her being involved with someone else? That's just... wrong.

I'm way too attached to Farscape, it seems...

I am really EXCITED about all the sci-fi shows are coming out of the merky muck that followed the demise of STNG and B5 when all sorts of new shows like DS9, Voyager, Earth Final Conflict, Andromedia, etc...all of which pailed to shows like Stargate, Farscape and the recently created Battlestar Galatica.

I do miss Space Above and Beyond a short lived FOX show, as well as the Joss Whedon Firefly and I was a SeaQuest fan for the first few seasons.

I'm with you on all of those except DS9. I like DS9 a lot, especially when the Dominion came into play...

Final conflict and Andromeda are the worst pieces of sci-fi dren ever aired, and for some unknown reason, the Sci-Fi challen is still frellin' making new episodes! Farscape is gone, but Andromeda is still on the air? What type of freaky alternate reality allows such injustice?
