Okay so anybody here watch MTV? they have all those dumb tv shows such as:
    "NEXT"
    "Parental Control"
    Etc....

does anybody know how real these shows are? if theres anything real about them? or if their all staged...I've always suspected they we're really staged but never 100% sure, anybody know?

    Re: MTV TV Shows

The only time I watch MTV is the occasional time I remember that the real world or rw/rr challenge is on, which is almost never. I havent watched it regularly since they stopped playing videos.

They are real....as real as they can be that is. Most of the people that audition for those shows want to be actors/models/singers that are just hoping for their big break. Some people are real, while others are just playing it up to get more screen time.

        My best score ever!

If MTV has any show that still has some quality, it's "True Life." Everything else MTV airs on their basic programming is in the toilet and stuck in the drain.

            Re: MTV TV Shows

I stopped watching MTV about two years ago when I realized how fake it was. I have friends who watch it religiously and I don't get it at all. The only half decent show is Headbanger's Ball on MTV2 and even that sucks 90% of the time. It would be cool if they actually focused on different genres of music instead of only appealing to teenagers who worship the latest music trends.
