  • Disney's Dancing Princes

As I was watching Sleeping Beauty the other night and I noticed something interesting - Prince Philip, when he dances, leads with his left hand while dancing with Aurora (Yes, he does swing his sword with his right hand). Then, watching Beauty and the Beast, I noticed the same thing - Beast leads with his left while dancing. I have also been informed that the Prince in Cinderella does the same.

Does anyone have any ideas why this is or is able to add any other films to the list where this happens?

The left always leads, then the right steals the election. so they say.

        isn't it always the left

doesn't the male, character or human, always lead with his left hand?

but seriously, from what I remember when taking swing dancing lessions, men always lead with the left.

ORDDU: Hmmmm...for just a minute, I thought this might turn out to be a topic about gay dancers at the Disney theme parks who appear in all those wonderful stage shows.
