  • ok this is waaaay random - looking for forgotten horror movie

Ok. So I am pretty much obsessed with Horror movies. I have been since I was a toddler, believe it or not. I always made my mom rent me scary movies when I was little....Now, I wasn't watching rated R movies at age 3, mind you, but I watched a lot of the old classics, like "The Bad Seed", "The Village of the Damned", etc....

So over the past 17 years or so, I have seen a LOT of scary movies, both new and old, foreign and american. I just love them, even if they are really bad and not scary at all. You know, like all the Vincent Price movies and such.

    Anyway, my question is:

There is a movie from the 60's or 70's that my mom said she watched when she was a a kid during that time. She said it was the scariest thing she has ever seen. But the only thing she remembers is that there was some sort of dark attic or garage or something along the lines of that, and there was a jar in the back with like red eyes. It was kind of like a glowing jelly. I know that sounds really dumb and it is very vague, but I have been trying to track that movie down. I tend to do that. Also my friends mom said she remembered it too, so it should be a well known movie.

So if anyone has any info on this, please let me know. I truly have a passion for stuff like this. I love hearing little things about movies our parents watched and then I track them down! It's fun!

    What movie is this?????

Amityville Horror??? Have no clue, sorry. That would be my best guess, haha.

Your best bet would be to find some sort of forum that specializes in these topics.

I FIGURED IT OUT!!! It's called "Something Evil" and it was a made for tv movie in the 70s...it was one of Stephen Spielbergs first movies. My mom said it has stuck with her ever since she saw it. I just bought it on ebay. I can't wait to see it after all this time!
