Orlando Bloom was reportedly involved in a car accident in Los Angeles last night.

The accident – apparently minor – occurred around 2:15 a.m., according to TMZ.com which says at least one person suffered minor injuries. It was unclear if the 30-year-old Pirates of the Caribbean star was hurt or if anyone was taken to the hospital.

Bloom was driving a 2003 Toyota Matrix registered to Dariusz Wolski, the director of photography on the Pirates movies, TMZ reports, adding that Bloom had spent time at the Green Door in Hollywood earlier in the evening.

ok WHOEVER he was with..in the TMZ videos, who was driving the car..she was TOTALLY wasted and should not have been driving. Orlando wasn't even driving, although he looked wasted to.

      This all really disappoints me.

Orlando Bloom was involved in a car accident early Friday morning in the Hollywood area of Los Angeles.

The 30-year-old Pirates of the Caribbean star was not injured, nor was he under the influence, according to LAPD officer April Harding.

"Police interviewed Bloom at the scene and at the hospital, and determined that he did not display signs or symptoms of intoxication. No field sobriety test was issued," Harding tells PEOPLE.

The accident occurred around 2:15 a.m., TMZ.com was first to report. Bloom was driving a 2003 Toyota Matrix registered to Dariusz Wolski, the director of photography on the Pirates movies, when another vehicle made a sudden lane change, causing him to swerve and hit two parked cars, police said.

"Bloom believed he was being followed by the paparazzi," Harding said. "He believed the car that cut him off was driven by a photographer."

Earlier in the night, Bloom had dinner in West Hollywood then headed to Green Door, an intimate lounge in Hollywood where he partied until about 2 a.m.

An onlooker at Green Door tells PEOPLE, "Orlando had a drink in his hand but was pretty mellow, he was only casually drinking. There weren't any girls in particular he was with for the night, he was just hanging with a group of people."

Two women in the car with Bloom were injured. A 35-year-old sitting in the back seat suffered a fractured neck. The other passenger, 30, was seated in front and cut by her seat belt.

"[He] is grateful that no one was seriously injured ... He spent last night at the hospital to be with his childhood friend who sustained a minor neck injury. He is thankful that emergency services arrived so quickly and that the ER staff at Cedars Sinai took such good care of his friend," the actor's rep, Robin Baum, said in a statement.

The incident is considered an accident, and no further investigation is pending, police said.

Actor Bloom won't be charged after car accident

Actor Orlando Bloom won't face charges in connection with a car accident that left his two female passengers injured.

The Los Angeles County district attorney's office on Friday said there was insufficient evidence to pursue charges against the "Pirates of the Caribbean" star.

Bloom told authorities he was being chased by paparazzi about 2:15 a.m. Oct. 12 when he was cut off by a vehicle that swerved into his lane on Fountain Avenue near Vista Street in Hollywood. A spokesman for the prosecuting agency said Friday that the accident occurred when Bloom responded by trying to take "evasive measures" and ended up striking a parked car.

Bloom said he was dazed by the crash, and, although he walked about 60 feet away from the vehicle, there was no evidence that Bloom was trying to flee the scene, said spokeswoman Jane Robison. There was also no evidence that drugs or alcohol were involved, she said.

A 35-year-old woman who was in Bloom's Toyota Matrix suffered a neck fracture, and a 30-year-old woman received cuts and bruises to her face. There were no reports of injury to Bloom.

The Los Angeles Police Department had brought in the case Friday morning for consideration, Robison said.

Bloom's publicist, Robin Baum, didn't immediately respond to an e-mail message seeking comment.

::sigh:: I don't know who I'm disgusted with. The paparazzi or the vultures that buy the cheap tabloids that buy the pictures from them. At least he wasn't drunk. I get so irritated when people who make millions of dollars can't call a car company/cab when they drink.

Can you imagine having that kind of life? Sure he's richer than us all, but he can't even get in a car accident without having 5,000 pictures taken of him. What a crappy situation for all of those people. I'm really glad everyone is ok and I hope the chick with the neck fracture heals quickly.

To live would be an awfully big adventure.
