  • Event: Disney Archive's 40th Anniversary

The details have been let out: D23 | The Official Community for Disney Fans

And the Details we all want to know:
    DATE
    Friday, June 25, 2010

    LOCATION
    Studio Theatre,
    The Walt Disney Studios
    Burbank, California

    TICKETS
Available June 4, 2010, 10 a.m. PST. Please check this page for the ticket link.

    COST
$50 per person (plus a $5 processing fee)

    SCHEDULE
Check in begins at 3:30 p.m., presentations begin at 5 p.m.
Sounds like a fun event to attend, though I'm sure many will complain about the $50 price tag. I personally think for $50, they do throw in a lot. I'm curious as to how many people would be able to attend, but seeing that they''ll be using the studio theater, im guessing around 400?

Anyways, from the looks of it, I don't think I can attend this event since I've already got plans for that evening , but if anything changes, I'd definitely love to go to this one especially since Bob Iger will be there

One thing I think would be cool for this event though is they could've used part of a soundstage to and create an archives gallery like they did for the expo where guests can see more items from the archives during the anniversary.

Anyways, enough with my opinion, what do you think about this event?

Anyone who goes want to pass the resume of a Library Media Specialist looking for his dream job and willing to move cross country into Dave Smith's hands?
    It's a Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah...Tip for Today!

Haha, don't you think you'd make a better impression if you were there? I'd like to meet Bob Iger myself as I'd love to work for him

Catch him at a Clippers game next season (I've seen him at about a half dozen), it's probably a cheaper ticket too.

Wish I could attend, it sound like a lot of fun. But, I have a event up at the Museum on the 26th, and covering that many miles isn't going to work.

Oh well, at least I got to meet Dave at the Expo last year.

I'll be there. The computer registration was quick this morning. But again the registration sequence simply stopped and read registration completed without a confirmation page. Fortunately, there was a confirmation email in my mailbox.
I hope that both - the Studio Store and the Disney Employee Center - will stay open that night.

The whole "cross country" thing hinders that somewhat...
