  • Wicked at Pantages closing night cast

Does anyone know who the closing night cast was?
    Thanks!
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

The Los Angeles production of Wicked plays its final performance at the Pantages Theatre Jan. 11. When it closes, the production of the hit Stephen Schwartz-Winnie Holzman musical will have played 791 performances and 12 previews.

The musical currently features Eden Espinosa as the green-faced Elphaba and Megan Hilty as the curly locked Glinda with Carol Kane as Madame Morrible, David Garrison as The Wizard, Derrick Williams as Fiyero, Tom Flynn as Dr. Dillamond, Eddy Rioseco as Boq and Briana Yacavone as Nessarose.

Wicked began previews in California Feb. 10, 2007, and officially opened Feb. 21. The original cast included Espinosa as Elphaba and Hilty as Glinda. Since opening the production has grossed over $90 million.

Sad to see it leave LA. Megan Hilty and Eden Espinosa were absolutely amazing together.

I was sad we didn't get back to see it one last time before it left.

I agree, Gregg. I saw it three times and I still wish I could have seen it again.

Memories of a very special day with MiceChat friends, at the Pantages in April 2007.

Is less than two years really considered a 'lengthy run' in LA?
                    WDW - 1987 & 1991
                    DLP - 1996, 2004, 2006 & 2007
                    DLR - October 2011

Not compared to 'The Phantom of the Opera's 4-year run at the Ahmanson Theatre downtown.
