  • Pixie Hollow - Guide to Games (with pics)

The following will be more of a pictorial of in game, with some random notes or tips that I've discovered as I play. The game does a great job of explaining how to play each game so I'm just summarizing what you can learn on your own here.

    Game: Firefly Light -Up

    Zone: Springtime Orchard

Goal: To light up all your fireflies without losing your light.

Tips: It's all about the timing and avoid the yellow moths. The fireflies follow a pattern every round, if you can figure out the pattern, you just have to place your light in the right place, at the right time.

The various types of light you receive as the game progresses:

Yellow is a small burst of light, small radius.

Red firelight spreads from firefly to firefly.

Purple twilight lingers a little longer lighting every firefly that passes through it.

Orange sunlight draws fireflies toward it and then expands to light them up.

Green moth keeps the other moths busy while you light the fireflies.

Blue light gives a big burst of sunlight when released.

    More to be added later...

I gave up on that game after round 2 LOL
Any tips on getting the light from the basket to the fireflies? They move way too fast for me (Maybe the touchpad on my laptop makes it harder?)
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

use a mouse. The game is really easy until you get to the yellow moths that chase you down and they block the light.....however, I doubt it would be easy using a touch pad.

Every level the fireflies follow a pattern, once you learn those you don't have to chase them, you can just be at the correct spot, at the right time. However, I will concede that I probably couldn't do it with a touch pad. LOL

For my lap top I use a wireless mouse. It was only $25.00 and it works great.
