A couple of interesting characters...

While in the POTC game a few moments ago, I noticed two players unlike any I've ever encountered. They stood in place for a bit, then both disappeared at the same time.

That's weird. I have seen them before It was weird... Neither talked or moved, I forget what their titles were, but I remember they were close or exact in titles.

I have seen that style once.. during beta people tried it..

then it came back during halloween... I prefer blue... lol

Yeah probably but it is not easy to make both of them disappear at once. Kind of creepy, but I have seen situations where someone gets dis connected and than thye come back on and their character is doubled and when they sign off they both disapear. So could this be the same thing? Most likely

Well considering he was in the Pirates game Lobby I am guessing it was a person playing two toons and they disappeared at the same time because they started their own game.

My sister and I dress like twins alot, and since we are playing the same room in real life, we will often disappear at the same time. That may be what happened. Still kinda creepy, though!
