  • A pirate key guide?

Is there a "guide" (for lack of a better word) for what you can win from each of the keys in the Pirates of the Carribean mini game?

    So far...

    BRONZE:
Pirate thrones (green, purple, blue, black)
    credits (50,100,200)
EMPTY! (actually includes 100 credits for the mini-game win)

    SILVER:
    Pirate Maze Wall
    Pirate Turret Wall
    credits (100,200)
EMPTY! (actually includes 100 credits for the mini-game win)

    GOLD:
    Pirate Maze Wall
    Pirate Turret Wall
    Pirate Cannon Wall
Turn into Coral Magic Pin (one use, expires in 30 days)
    credits (100,200,500)
EMPTY! (actually includes 100 credits for the mini-game win)

I'll continue to update. Most of these are things I've actually received from the chests, but I have to tell you, the bronze and silver chests seem to be empty more and more frequently for me, so I haven't been able to get any new items. I seem to get a bunch of black pirate thrones from the bronze, Pirate Maze walls if I get anything at all from the silver, and Coral Magic pins seem to fly out of that gold chest for me. I'd like to see some of your experiences with the chests here so we can see if it is game-wide or player-by-player. I know with some of my additional characters I tend to get different colored thrones (blue and purple) from bronze, credits from silver, and empty or Coral Magic pins from the gold, so it may vary player-by-player.

Hmm..nice but may I add something?

For the Bronze Key, you can also get 200 credits.

Thank you for taking the time to make the guide :csmile:

Those are the things I remember getting. Anyone else? I'll keep updating...

(although this seems to have taken a back-seat to the space race ride!)

Great guide! Helpful and clear. A good planning guide for which type of game to play.

Keep updating this and once we get a complete list we can place it in with the game FAQs.

Also, remember what BFJen said when it's empty you still get 100 credits.

I need that information to post it in the update...plus, that particular color is on sale, so maybe you are confusing that with one you purchased?

              Anyone else confirm?

Sorry I wasn't much help. I haven't bought any pirate thrones recently. I play all three levels of pirates, so I don't recall which chest it was. I will see if I get another red one sometime within the next day or so.

                  Re: A pirate key guide?

no problem...this thing should be updated as often as people make notes about what they get from which chests and then post it here...I'll keep updating as long as they'll let me! Next time you MiceChat folk get something, check the list at the top first! If you see something that isn't there, post!

Tips on Pirate Keys (how to beat the system)

Ok so i have been studing the patterns of the treasure chests for some time now... and i will share the info i am pretty sure i know with you

Bronze: there is only one prize-a pirate throne of a random color. the thrones are distributed 1 throne then 2 empties 1 throne then 2 empties.. i could be wrong though. u can also win 200 credits

Silver and Gold: the silver is harder to get a prize bc there are two empties before credits, pirate walls, and Single Use Turn Into Coral Magic (gold only) if u want walls, you will probably have to go right after one or two empties or after 2-4 prizes... they seem to be handed out at the beginning and end of each reel before empties. The credits and magic is a game of luck. but to increase your chances, watch for a moment. after one prize after empty is handed out, go for it. if u wait to long however, u might get a pirate wall or empty.

These strategies only help if u have a lot of time to sit in front of a treasure chest (especially bronze) and don't mind ppl yelling at u to get out of the way hey, if u get a prize, its better than nothing!

GL and hope this comes in handy

As a courtesy, you should do a search before posting...

Maybe re-post your suggestions under that thread I started...it's only suggestions, though...since I have done the same kind of thing and found no pattern, unlike you.

So, aside from bugging each person, how do you find out what other people are getting?
