Thank you very much for your concern... however... I think VMK already has a pretty good handle on policing itself. For myself, I respectfully reserve the right to look out for my own best interests.

Might I suggest enjoying VMK as the game it is. Play some Pirates or Mansion. Make some friends. Have a nice time.

If your just a loud mouth kid calling me a chicken in the game don't be surprized when you loose to me, I'm not running from you I'm leading you into a trap and if you try to take it further in the game lobby you will be ignore buttoned and on my boot list from that day on > but you won't get reported for that > so I'm pretty sure i can take care of myself VMK agents. >

IT still boggels my mind how anyone can get scammed in a trade. You put your stuff up, they put theirs. You hit OK, they hit OK. Now its locked - you look at all the stuff again to make sure and so do they. Now you both hit OK again. How do people get scammed.

OK - if its a large trade where you need to make two or more trades, or you are trading credits, then there is a certain level of trust required, but for normal trades, I just don't see it.

                      Dave,

Though it's quite hard to get scammed, it's happened to me. I was so dumb to pay a dude to invite ppl to my game room. When i gave him his payment, which i did when i was not thinking he could scam me and run off with my stuff. It's just a matter of thinking. But NEVER give pay anyone u don't trust! You've most likly been warned a bunch of times, but once more won't hurt
                      no matter
                      how pretty or ugly
                      y o u are,
                      that ONE person thinks that
                      y o u
                      are the most beautiful
                      person in the world &
                      they mean it from THERE.

I couldn't agree with you more. It is MINDBOGGLING ( lol ) for me to understand how you can be scammed. You put item(s) in the box, and THEN you click OK. Still think you're getting scammed? Then click OK again.... I don't GET IT

Re: Scammers Beware - VMK Agents are looking for you!

Okay, I have to admit I have been scammed as I am new to trades. I feel really stupid, but know I've learned from it.
I was trying to be nice and thought I would help out though I didn't really need the offered items. Someone really wanted two heart chairs and wished to trade a teleporter and a rope divider. I figured since it was some things I could easily earn credits and buy again, that I would.
I assumed the teleporter would mean two when it was traded like when buying one -you just see one picture. Turned out it was some guy who must have been given a coffin teleporter by some girl and he didn't have the other, she did/does. He left quickly after the trade, of course. I placed it in my room and it takes me to hers.
I keep trying to catch her in to tell her what happened, but no one is ever there in her room when I am on.

This is just a caution - when trading for teleporters, make sure they give you two not one. It isn't like buying it from an official vmk store.
