Disneyland celebrated the Fourth of July in style this weekend with patriotic bunting and banners down Main Street after getting rid of the tired "Celebrate Today!" decorations and California Adventure continues to pack them in with its new World of Color show. Meanwhile, construction continues on DCA's upcoming Little Mermaid and Cars Land attractions, amongst other additions.

Construction continues at various Disney's California Adventure projects as World of Color brings in big crowds.

<a name="DD3-1">WORLD OF COLOR</a>
Disney continues to promote its new water show heavily and will be taking the show "on tour" by brining lights and projections to California icons in four cities across the state.

World of Color FASTPASS is now being distributed 30 minutes earlier daily for Disneyland Resort Hotel guests, Disney announced last week. This is great customer service for Hotel guests, but is yet another speed bump the average guest has to deal with now when trying to secure tickets for the show. It's another instance where the Guest who can afford to give Disney more money gets better treatment. Disneyland isn't everybody's land anymore; it's the land of the highest bidder.

The facade for the upcoming Little Mermaid attraction is progressing quickly. The large, dramatic arch on the front of the structure has been framed in, giving an idea of how lavish this building on the edge of Paradise Park will be.

<a name="DD3-4">CARS LAND</a>
Work continues on the massive Cars Land project...

<a name="DD3-5">RED CAR TROLLEY</a>
The permanent connector pathway between the Hollywoodland and Flik's Fun Fair is coming along nicely as work continues on the Red Car Trolley track in front of the Tower of Terror.
