I decided to stay 'home' this weekend, didn't really like doing much. So I decided to go and volunteer at the Good Samaritan Shelter. Wow. I am AMAZED by how loving and kind all of those people are there. I served salad to the people who came in, and they were SO grateful. It has definitely given me a different perspective on life, I complain about the smallest things that go wrong, and here are these amazing people who are so grateful just to have something to eat. I'm going back tomorrow to help serve again and I'm very excited. So, if you have the extra time - I HIGHLY recommend that you go and help out at your local shelter, you just might find yourself with a whole new perspective.
