  • Show off your Disney Collection! (Part 2)

I really liked the old 'Show off your collection' thread and have just made a few additions to my home office. I notice the old post was closed so thought what better time than the new year to start up a new one!

Trying to keep everything Disney in one room and have been slowly getting rid of some of the more 'junky' stuff and replacing it with a better class of collectible (Still have a ways to go to catch up to some of the others here )

Great collection! I'm curious though, where did you get the cases pictured here:

I've been looking for something like that for awhile now. Thanks for sharing!

Those were at WalMart last year. I had my eyes on them for a while when they were selling for full-price somewhere between $100-$150. They finally cleared them out and I just happened to be there the morning they put the display model out for $37 (Assembled too!) and the 2nd one was $60ish. It turned out that one of the mirrors was broken on the one in the box and I was not able to get a replacement from the company so I just took out the broken pieces and put the back on backwards to show the 'wood-grain' panel (You can see it in the lower part of the left case, no mirror).

I think this was a one time purchase and I checked several WalMarts at the time to see if I could score one more but no luck.

Ikea has some really nice glass/wood curios with four shelves in them for around $60. They're a little under 6 foot tall. They come in black and light or dark wood colors

Very cool, I like to try and get 1 or 2 samples of various items so I am going to keep my eyes out for those toys with the movie boxes.
