  • Avanzino Peter Pan Question

I'm hoping someone out there can give me some background on the Avanzino Peter Pan 50th Anniversary piece done in 2003. It uses icons from the movie to spell out Peter Pan and on the back it references the 50th annivesary. It is not a shadowbox--just something to hang on the wall. I've looked around but haven't found anything but this quote from Dave Avanzino in a post on this board back in March 2008: "We had limited success with the first overseas piece I created for Peter Pan. We did it all as one unit like a resin plaque and it just didn't reflect my work enough for me."

Specifically, I'm wondering if someone knows where it was sold, how many were made, and its original price.

If anyone has any info, thanks in advance!

Here's a link to a "similar" picture, but this is not what I'm asking about. The piece I'm wondering about uses all the same icons exactly, but not in a framed shadowbox.

Edited to add: link to a similar picture.
