  • Latest Engine from Lowell Smith?

Lowell Smith's Facebook page recently teased "I can't wait to show you what is coming next!! This is the coolest thing ever! Somebody hold me down!!" One person commented whether it's a Disney structure of perhaps an agricultural design which Lowell "liked". Do you think we could possibly be seeing a Fred Gurley engine in the very near future? Thoughts?

The Fred Gurley engine was originally used on a sugar plantation

I saw this post too and it got me thinking. I suppose it could be another locomotive. It could also be more rolling stock, Holiday Green or Holiday Blue would be nice.

On that earlier locomotive thought. Thus far, Lowell has usedthe new Atlas 4-4-0 locomotives for the C.K. Holliday and the Lilly Belle. Atlas has a cap stack version and I was thinking about redecorating one in the E.P. Ripley, since the Atlas units run much better than the Bachmann 4-4-0's, perhaps Lowell is making the Ripley. Now I have not heard of anyone producing a 2-4-4T or a 2-4-0 in N-scale.

      We will wait and see.
