Re: Olszewski Disneyland Rides/Attractions/Buildings
They did a slight update last week, nothing major though. I know Robert will be at D23 with a 60th Sleeping Beauty Castle Main Street building and Gallery of Light box. There was supposed to be a pokit pal but that has been postponed. hopefully after D23 he can work on the rest of the Fantasyland stuff.

Re: Olszewski Disneyland Rides/Attractions/Buildings
Thanks for the info, JiminyC!
When I called on Wednesday, the guest services representative transferred me to someone who works in the Gallery, which I didn't understand. That person had left for the day, so I left a message with my telephone number and the items I'm looking for. When I didn't hear back from her by 4:30 the following day, I called again and chatted with a very kind woman (not in the Gallery) who is in the process now of looking to see what they have in stock that is on my list. She stated Olszewski is still re-releasing these pieces.

Storybookland should be the next release as it was farthest along last I checked, followed hopefully by the carrousel for the major pieces. I know he was also working on Toontown Station, small world kiosk, and Skyway station.

Re: Olszewski Disneyland Rides/Attractions/Buildings
I'm shocked King Arthur Carrousel has not been produced yet. It, and quite a few other pieces have been listed with "TBD" on the Olszewski website for a couple years now. I feel bad for collectors who have purchased a platform and years later, have holes where attractions are supposed to be.

Re: Olszewski Disneyland Rides/Attractions/Buildings
We all know that Disney moves pretty slow and since they are now in charge of distribution, we can see they are still slow. Which is fine. For those of us still missing pieces, we are more likely to see them. The secondary market will suffer...such is life. Also King Arthur Carousel should not disappoint and is expected to be a very detailed piece. It will also carry a BIG price tag.
Glad to see there are still some of Olszewski collectors about. Not much has been heard in a long while. I have yet to gain entry in to the Yahoo group, so this has been my only outlet.

Re: Olszewski Disneyland Rides/Attractions/Buildings
I love the pieces and wish I had room to buy the platform. I had many of the pieces a couple years ago, but had to sell them after a romantic relationship ended. So, at this point, I'm collecting just the pieces that mean the most to me and can be displayed in my cabinet. I would love to see the Carrousel when done.
Hoping to hear from the representative today. Fingers crossed.

Unfortunately I just started collecting these last year...I have emailed Bob a few times, and the most that he will say is that the Disney team is committed to finishing Fantasyland. He also stated that the Casey Jr/Storybook Land Canal Boat sculpture is complete and awaiting approval, and that work on Kings Arthur's Carousel is continuing. I really hope that Disney continues to rerelease the catalog and at some point produces more platforms and accessories. I am afraid that this line has run its course, but I would love for it to continue into other areas of the park. C'mon Disney....Pirates turns 50 next year...how about a rerelease of POTC and new sculptures to complete New Orleans Square? I think the interest is still there...

I saw Bob at the Disneyana show but was only able to talk to him briefly. He said storybookland was pretty much done but Disney is pushing to get the carrousel done first. They are working the issue of being able to replicate the horses satisfactorily which is part of the hold up. Might be a while before we see anything

Living in the MIdwest, it has been hard keeping tabs on re-releases, though it appears to be slow. Two pieces are all that is needed to at least complete Main Street: Plaza Inn and Plaza Pavilion. The ebay prices have been insanely high. Fantasyland is in good shape and I can wait on the rest.

Looks like I'll need a second mortgage if I ever want to complete these collections...The lighting harness that retailed for $175 just sold for $1,800 on ebay, Parades sets pushing $600 (Probably due to the discontinued status)... The best I can get out of Merchandise Guest Services is to "buy what we have" (In a very friendly "magical way" of course). Sure would be nice to be able to get an answer as to if items will ever be released again...
