  • Lowell Smith Holliday locomotive

Hello all. I recently acquired one of these on the secondary market. It is new, but when I removed it from the plastic cradle, the front wheels/bogie assembly simply fell to the floor. Has anyone else had this issue? I don't see any broken parts. How is it held in place? Thanks for any help.

    Re: Lowell Smith Holliday locomotive

I have had the pilot come off of my CK Holliday and another Atlas 4-4-0 (converting to EP Ripley). They are not difficult to put back on, just some fiddling around because they are so small. Most of my model railroad experience is with HO, so the smaller N has been a little challenging.

Thanks, Justin. I cannot even determine how to reattach. At first, I thought they were held on by magnet, but I was incorrect. I will contact Atlas to see if they can assist.
