I love the detailing on the cape, Eeee-va! That's a good way to prepare her for the movie too!

Of course not! She climbed in herself.

Although...she is far too short to reach the handle to open the door...OK, I admit it. I helped. :shy:

“Oh boy, OH BOY, OH BOY, OH BOY!!” exclaimed Duffy when he saw all the ties he got from Avola on Etsy! And they’re Velcro so he doesn’t have to worry about trying to tie them with his fumble finger paws. He didn’t even care that Shellie May received two new outfits because the way Duffy counts, each tie is its own piece so he’s ahead. Hey, I’m not going to correct him. Plus it will do him good to wear some ties since today he is running around in his shorts and that’s it!

“How do I look? Did I put it on correctly?” he asked me.

“You did! You look really handsome, Duffy,” I told him.

Shellie May was equally excited at her two new outfits. The Tinkerbell dress is more proof that she is a DISNEY bear and will not be mistaken for a Build-A-Bear, and the other outfit is really unique and will keep her warm this winter. “Ooo, what is this?” she asked. “A necklace,” I told her. By the way, I’m glad she has found some use for her gray sweater that she was trying to pawn off on Duffy earlier in the year (much to his dismay since he is NOT going to wear something with a pink butterfly on it). Like me, she’s not big on the color gray because it depresses her.

Da bears informed me that we must move because their closets are overflowing even with the 1 into 5 hangers I purchased for them. “Our closets are so full that we can’t even see what we have anymore. We need a bigger house.”

I promptly told them that they are probably the only bears who have their own closet EACH so no, we are NOT moving. Dig through and find something to wear and deal with it! HA!

“Wow, Adelaide, you are BEAUTIFUL!” exclaimed Shellie May when Adelaide promenaded in wearing her new dress.

“Yes, and look at my silver shoes (borrowed from Shellie May’s bin).” She is a bit of an athletic tomboy and this is her first time wearing a dress but I had to laugh that she’s most excited about the shoes (it probably has to do with her still being self-conscious about her Cody Simpson paw soles).

“You’re a knockout,” said Duffy! “Nobody would even see your feet in that dress. Wow, just wow! Come over here and see Adelaide, Bearami!”

Bearami was lounging in his new pajamas playing my PS Vita but with some nudging even he came over to see Adelaide.

“Wow, Adelaide! Hey, move over Tropicolor Teddy. Adelaide, would you like to sit by ME for awhile?” he asked, winking at her and grinning like a fool, PS Vita forgotten. I think Bearami is in love and even Adelaide is enjoying the positive attention. For a bear who usually needs her space, as evidenced by her posture on the ride home from Minneapolis, she sure is letting Bearami get cozy!

Oh, and Tropicolor Teddy? She is now sitting on the other side of Lo♥ey where Adelaide was so as long as they're together (since they're best friends) she doesn't mind switching spots.

All these clothes came from Avola on Etsy, and you don't have to worry; they fit fine even though she mostly makes clothes labeled as being for American girl dolls.

That is soooo cute! I am so glad I'm not the only one who does that (now Duffy has his own car seat)!

We went to the Christmas tree lighting celebration at my local mall this weekend and I wanted to show off Duffy's new ensemble.

It's a magic wand with Duffy's head at the top actually. From TDS' 10th anniversary. The theme was "Be Magical!" Shellie May has one with her head on it too.

I got some awesome photos today at WDW but it's 2:30am, I got home a little while ago and am pooped. Gonna eat my food I got on the way home & get to bed. Will post tomorrow (well, later today).

Photobucket was being a PITA uploading photos today but finally got it done!

So yeah... yesterday we went to MK for the day since I won tickets to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party for that night.

Got to the park around 10:30am and raced all the way back to Storybook Circus as a friend of mine is "friends" with Goofy and told me the night before that Goofy wanted to show me his Great Goofini trophies and told me what set times to stop by. I made it just before the end of the first set and Goofy was SO happy to see me! Seriously one of the best character interactions I've ever had in recent years. He even personally escorted me over to see Donald afterward!

Went over by Mermaid but it was down at the time.

With that out of the way, stopped for an early lunch at Pinocchio Village Haus. I like getting the kids meals at the counter service restaurants when there's a good variety because I don't like stuffing myself full while at the parks, plus it's cheaper. So I got the kids cheese pizza, which came with grapes, strawberry yogurt and a drink.

                                Duffy immediately commandeered my lunch.

After lunch and a quick stop to see Pooh & Tigger, we headed to Tomorrowland. Carousel of Progress was closed because they were filming scenes for the movie "Tomorrowland" that Brad Bird is directing. They had a bunch of extras in 60s period costumes as some scenes apparently take place during the 64-65 World's Fair. It was pretty cool and I snapped a bunch photos ans tweeted some out (and my Twitter subsequently exploded with a ton of retweets). BTW the movie comes out May 2015.

Took a ride on the Peoplemover while killing tome for my Space Mountain Fastpass and lucked out getting the front of a train.

Silly bear. He loves trying on various hats and headwear.

Bow ties are cool... but this is is a little too big.

Buzz Lightyear was doing meet & greet in a kind of hidden back corner of Tomorrowland as his usual meet & greet area by COP was being used by catering for the movie crew & stuff. As a result his line was really short so we jumped in to finally add his autograph to the book and so Duffy could get a photo.

Hanging out with Brer Rabbit in the Hub.

Got a Fastpass to check out the Jingle Cruise (standby wait was nearly an hour), but we never got around to checking it out.

"Nope! Not going on that! Not getting wet! It makes my fur smell and it goes all poofy!"

Also picked up a Big Thunder Fastpass but never used that one either! Oh well.

We rode the train from Frontierland all the way around to Main Street.

Caught the tail end of the 3:00 parade as it stepped off from Main Street (instead of Fronteierland like it usually does).

Finally it was time to use the Christmas party tickets (you can get in starting at 4pm with them even though the party doesn't officially start until 7pm). Duffy changed into his Christmas party outfit. I had so many people ask where I got it or if I made it. All from BAB (except the boots, which are from his TDS Home Sweet Christmas costume from 2011).

While waiting for the castle lighting show to start, Duffy spotted one of his "cousins" nearby so we went over to say hello and snap some photos.

After the castle was lit for the night, we went to the Main Street Bakery for some Starbucks (my friend was buying as a "thank you" because I gave him one of my extra party tickets). Duffy watched as they made the drinks.

Duffy! That's MY cinnamon dolce latte!

The "snow" on Main Street during the party is pretty cool. It's just soap bubbles but it really looks like snow flying around in the air.

During the party there are several treat stations throughout the park where you can get free cookies and hot cocoa. The cookies are snickerdoodles and are actually pretty decent (we brought 5 home with us! :lmao: )

We ran into some MORE Duffys! I was amazed and impressed with how many Duffys I saw in the park yesterday. Saw most of them during the Christmas party (and they were all dressed in their holiday finest) but saw a few during the day as well.

Duffy loves the castle lights. So do I. I took so many photos. So beautiful!

                                More cookies & cocoa!

                                Yummy!

While waiting for the 2nd parade, I got a bucket of popcorn to munch on. They had these cute Santa Mickey buckets that were $12 but the one we got was cute too and only $5.25!

After the parade (I'm normally not a parade person, but I love the Christmas one), we went to Fantasyland and took a spin on the carousel. Duffy loves that he always gets his own horse!

                                That is one happy bear!

Mary Poppins, Bert & a couple penguins were doing meet & greet behind the carousel. They were fun. The penguins actually fought over who was going to hold Duffy for the photo! That was so cute and funny! I love the penguins. Sadly the photo didn't turn out good (the CM was standing too far away - no idea why they don't try to get closer sometimes).

We then took a spin (literally) on the Mad Tea Party. Wheee!

Went back and rode Little Mermaid. I like the ride. I don't get why get it gets so much flack. By the time we were done it was almost midnight (the party ends at midnight). Made one last cookie stop and then headed out to Main Street.

Can't get enough of that castle!

                                BALLOONS!!

                                "But.... I don't wanna go!!"

"NO! WANNA STAY!" Sorry Duffy... the party is over and the park is closed. I didn't want to leave either.

We finally got home around 2:00am and promptly zonked out. It was an exhausting but really fun day!
