    I remember when the E1 toys came out back in '99; they had a midnight release then too... it was crazy! And a lot of fun. Of course that was back when I was waaaay into collecting toys.

          I can't imagine there's enough interest in the Clone Wars movie to justify this.

          Or is this an attempt to hype the movie?

            Trust me, there was plenty of interest. A lot of items sold out and are hard to find at the moment. Many stores had 50 or more people waiting. I listened to a live podcast from across the country as the merch was released. It was really cool.
