  • Disney's Pin Celebration - Pin Trading University

    http://psc.disney.go.com/eventservic...ation2008.html

This looks interesting. I've got plans that weekend or else I'd try to check it out. Considering the pin trading culture/community is so different on each coast this seemed like an interesting approach to the annual September pin event. Is anyone interested enough to participate?

It's going to be $150 per person. We have been debating about going this to it this year.

Apparently you get a whole bunch of "free" stuff, like pins and bags. I haven't been to a big pin trading event like that, but I can't imagine having enough self-control to not come home with a bunch of newly purchased pins as well

I saw that there is a Jessica as a cheerleader pin. Suffice to say I want it. Alas I am not attending.

Merchandise artwork has been released. I must say I am overwhelmingly(sp?) disappointed with the designs. Almost sad. The price is $100 for early bird. Then it goes up to $115.

Can you only by these if you're registered for the Pin University? Our first day in the parks is the last day of the event and I really don't want to pay $300 for us to get in JUST to get the few duckie pins in the brochure!

I actually really like these pins! Wish I could get some!
              Good morning, son
              In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
              It was pain
              Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...
