Took our first Disney Cruise 11/16/08--4 night on the Disney Wonder, myself, my wife, and our youngest child (11).

First, I was very impressed with how organized and efficient the cruise terminal was. Disney had staff to direct you on dropping people off, parking, what lines to be in---I was very impressed.

Once on the ship, it was off for lunch. I was surprised to be handed a disposable hand wipe upon entering the buffet (have not cruised for a long time). Indeed, disposable hand wipes were every where.

Explored the ship, oriented ourselves, then went to our cabin. Luggage was delivered by 3:15. Lifeboat drill was also very fast and efficient.

We really enjoyed the rotational dining. We were in Tritons twice for dinner. The food was excellent.

First excursion we did was Black Beard's Cay at Nassau. Again, the level of organization on Disney's part was exceptional, as we got to our meeting location, received towels, food and drink "tokens", wristbands, and were led off the ship to the boat to the Island.

Next day was Castaway Cay. We just played on the beach and swam in the water--did not feel the need for any float rentals or anything else.

The "day at sea" we participated in the Vegetable Race car competition--placed third--my daughter is already planning the next race car design for the next cruise.

My daughter went to the kids club twice--once to play video games, the other to make flubber--she had a great time.

The first night we had a great time swimming in the goofy pool. After that, the pool was just too crowded to swim.

We watched one show---Mark Nizer--proffesional juggler (gravitational engineer he tells his mom--best line from the act). My first thought was--ok, a juggling act-big deal--then you realize this guy is juggling as the ship rolls under him, and I must say I was impressed.

We went to the cadilac lounge one night (while the little one played DDR at the kids club) to listen to piano music. The piano player was excellent, but I have a hard time warming up to the "band in a box"---the use of the computer to simulate a complete musical group--I would have preffered to just here the piano.

Chuy and Danielle (musical duo) seemed to get around the ship and were enjoyable to listen to.

We had a great time and plan on going again next November---Have our eyes set on first place in the veggie race car race.

    Nice pictures thanks for sharing.

We had actually planned on being on that same cruise, but had to postpone our plans.

Yes, me in the sand. We are from Alaska--my daughter said the sand is just like the snow--only not cold.

The cabin was very comfortable. Plenty of room for the three of us.--Interior, second level.
