[Question] Disney buying an island?

With moving a ship to the west coast is there any hope that Disney will buy an island? A West Coast Castaway Cay???

Do any of the cruise lines have private islands out here? Our ocean isn't like the caribbean. Maybe a private beach in Mexico?

Yeah, I mentioned this in a post earlier. The west coast just isn't floating with uninhabited islands the way the Caribbean is. The best one could hope for would be a private beach on the Baja Peninsula... which would actually be pretty cool.

Yea. A beach in Cabo or someplace in Mexico would make most sense. There just aren't tropical islands off the west coast of the USA.

There are the Channel Islands off of so cal, but most of those are part of a National Park and cannot be touched. Even if Disney were to buy one of them, I would probably be one of the first ones to lie in front of the bulldozer!

I don't think Disney will be buying a private island. Sorry. There really aren't a lot of islands over here. I'm dissappointed the cruise won't be sailing from California to Alaska. Darn. The water over here doesn't look clean like it does over in Florida
