I need some folks to convince me in the next 8 hours

That I am not making a mistake by buying a four-day cruise on the Wonder with my 9 (will be turning 10 on the cruise) and 11 year old.

Two years ago, we went on a Princess Cruise and really enjoyed it.

My fear-that my kids will be too "old" for the Disney cruise and I'll have a four-day whine fest instead How are the programs really? My two are quite bright, but polar opposites, both girls, one a girlie girl, the other a tomboy.

I have until 10 p.m. tonight to either book or not. Please, any input from any BTDT folks. The plan is to go on the cruise and then afterward spend four more nights in Orlando doing Disney World/maybe Sea World et al. We are slated to be on the Nov 1 cruise.

p.s. I should add that I am a bit of a food snob on land-I've read mixed reviews about the food I'm not high maintenance, but I am a stickler for clean rooms and good food. I've seen some photos of the Palo restaurant which looks great, but how is the day to day fare?

The only mistake you're making is not taking the 7 night cruise! I've been on several Disney cruises and other lines. You and the kids will have a fantastic time and wish you could stay longer! I recently booked my third Disney cruise and hope to book the Alaska cruise in two weeks.
There's always so much food available, I'm sure you won't have trouble finding something you like.

Take the cruise! Your kids are the perfect age for it and Disney has such interesting and well supervised activities for them that you'll actually have some time for yourself for a change! This will be a vacation for ALL of you, not just the kids.

Have a great time and we want to hear your review and see your photos when you get back

DO IT. I was practically raised on DCL, and I can say from personal experience that the best kids programs are the 8-9 and the 10-12 set. The Oceaneer's Lab is so awesome that they won't want to leave.

I'm young and am going on a Disney Cruise in December. I've never been on one but I've done tons and tons and tons of research on it. Your daughters will LOVE it, I'm sure. My sister is around the age of one of your daughters and there is sooo much to do for their age group. If your kids like to go to Disneyland or WDW then I'm positive the will love the cruise. You are never too grown up for Disney and there are tons of things for each age group to do. Book it! Good luck and have fun! :]

I second this motion... The 4 nights go by in the blink of an eye. Your kids will love it. They're at the perfect age. I'm only 14 years old and I've been on 8 Disney cruises.... I have to say the ones I remember most are at the age of 10 and 12. I was on the inaugural Panama Canal Crossing (14 nights; 2005) and that went by way to fast...

So I say go ahead and book it!!!

I first sailed with Disney when I was 20 and loved it. If I loved it, I know the kids will too.
