  • Disney Wonder to be dry docked late Jan. 2014.

Disney cancelled 2 five day cruises on the Wonder in Jan. 2014, so it can dry dock. The two cruises are start dates Jan 19th and Jan 24th. The 10 day dry dock maybe to fix damage from a fire a couple cruises ago, but the boat needed to be dry docked by Sept. 2014 for routine inspection anyways.

Disney is offering full refunds for these cruises, along with 25% your next Caribbean or Bahama cruises if done a year after the original sail date.

So heads up this isn't a full out brand spanking new ship like the Magic is getting. Disney is still doing the Alaskan cruises next year and 2015 on the Wonder, so because of the Panama Canal delays- it physically can't be remodeled like the Magic. I guess the Magic is getting lengthened and as of right now (because Magic is getting a face lift), the Wonder is the biggest boat that can go through the Panama Canal.

... On a total side note: I'm going on the Wonder in Sept. 2014 through the Panama Canal (on the 100th anniversary).
